Touched by lightning or Zeus is a 2015 17.1hh TB by Fighting Sun out of Cape Tycoon. Zeus is as quiet as they get, can be ridden by an absolute beginner independently. Easy to shoe, clip, wash, rug you name it he’s fine with it. He likes the slow life too much to do anything naughty, barely gallops when asked. Can leave him in the paddock for a few months and hope on to the same horse. Doesn’t get hot on certain feeds either. Happy to trail ride and rarely spooks at anything. Not phased by other horses antics and can be used to calm a highly stung/ nervous young horse at comps. Has been to pc rally’s and a handful of eventing comps however despite his size he is most happy jumping up to grade 4 HT and grade 3 SJ. He will happily cruise around a grade 4 cross country but worries if they’re any bigger. As I’m hoping to event higher, he is offered for sale/lease. Would suit a adult who’s aspirations end at 65cm jumps or someone who wants a bombproof big horse to take out to dressage comps, adult rider rallies ect. Not suitable for children just due to his strength, but as long as you aren’t afraid of heights could easily bring a nervous rider some confidence. |
