If you are looking for a safe reliable mount then this is the boy for you.

Unraced thoroughbred. Beautiful bay gelding, foaled Oct 2016, standing at 16.1hh.

He has the sweetest temperament and is looking for someone to love him like he deserves. The most chilled out thoroughbred I’ve ever met – whether trail riding, at home or out at a busy competition, even after two months off.

Schooling 90cm+, over the past year together we’ve successfully completed at 75cm and prelim dressage (I’m not a dressage rider). His lovely nature makes him a pleasure to take out.

No nasties, good to c/f/w/s (front shoes), clip and everything else. Ridden by a variety of ages and abilities, he is perfect for a junior’s first big horse or an adult looking for a confidence booster.

He is a wind sucker with his two front teeth removed – this does not affect his condition – good doer. Vet checks welcome.

“Rocky” a 16.1hh bay, 11yo off the track thoroughbred (Dr. Green x Lady Sophia). Racing both in Aus and Hong Kong he was quite successful in his day. Don’t let him being a thoroughbred put you off this very sensible and gentle giant. Only ever wanting to please his rider he is an absolute delight to deal with on the ground being easy to C/S/L/F.

Jasper is a 12yo 16.3hh gelding who is unflappable in everyway.

A true been there done that horse, jasper had attended clinics, ARC days, jump days, ag shows and had started dabbling in eventing successfully with a junior rider. Winning TIE in the junior section and 4th overall in open after this combination had only had two weeks together previously.

Jasper is an absolute delight to have around and take out, he is a straightforward ride and happy to get his job done. More recently jasper has been competed by two 15yo girls across showjumping and eventing, helping one of these young girls regain their confidence in jumping phases.

Typically jasper is a more woah then go guy, happy to just bold around never getting strong or doing more work then he has to. He is a guy that likes variety and can become arena sour if ridden 6 days a week in an arena setting. Due to this he would be best suited to a home that can allow him to have variety with hacks out ect.

Laughs Loudest AKA Apollo is a 16.3/17hh , rising 8 yr old chestnut OTTB gelding who retired off the track in November 2020. Apollo is the perfect Eventing project with movement for both the dressage and hack ring. Apollo is a big, bold jumper who has competed up to 1.10m and schooled up 1.15m with so much scope and talent to go higher. He has schooled up to 1m XC. Apollo has been to countless lessons and outings including shows, PC, zone Showjumping days and trail rides. He has been exposed to cattle and sheep and has trotted through sporting events for a change of activities. Apollo is smart on his feet and will often correct his striding if I happen to set him up on a bad line. He has a lovely soft snaffle mouth with a good stop and a beautiful natural carriage. He is easy to C/W/S/F and does not have any bad habits such as buck/rear/bolt/windsucking/weaving/stable walking etc. Apollo has been ridden and schooled by a 14yr old girl with ease and did not put a foot out of line. While Apollo is a genuinely easy horse to get along with and always try’s his heart out he is very matey is often faced with anxiety when out in new environments. This unfortunately has caused him to not perform to the ability or reach the levels I know he can. When he is switched on he could move the world with the talent and scope he has, but it is getting through to him that he will never be asked to race again and is safe. With time and patience I know he will be the most perfect horse for someone and will jump the stars. Apollo is for sale due to no fault of his own, unfortunately with the end of my degree very fast approaching and moving into a full time job I am having to make the extremely hard decision to move my boy on as he has too much undiscovered talent to sit wasting in the paddock. While Apollo has been ridden by a younger rider, due to his anxiety while out he will only be offered to an extremely experienced horse home and experienced older teen/adult rider who will give him the time and patience to work through his anxiety. I will be very picky on finding him the perfect home and rider. As Apollo is only currently in light work his price is reflecting this.
